Report copyright infringement or illegal content

Last updated: 6 October 2026

What you can report

Content made or stored with CutMeme that infringes your copyright or other rights, that is illegal, or that breaks our Terms of Service. We do not publish our users’ videos, so most reports are about videos made with CutMeme and shared elsewhere; tell us where you saw it.

How to report

Email support@cutmeme.com with:

  1. What is wrong: why you believe the content is illegal or infringes your rights. For copyright, the work you own and how you own it.
  2. Where it is: a link, the video itself or a description exact enough for us to find it.
  3. Who you are: your name and email address. You may stay anonymous if you report child sexual abuse material.
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith that the information in your report is accurate and complete.

We confirm that we received your report.

What happens next

A person reviews every report carefully and without bias. If the content is illegal or breaks our terms, we delete what we host, and we may limit or close the account. We tell you what we decided and, if your report concerns a crime that threatens someone’s life or safety, we inform the authorities.

The user whose content we removed hears from us what we did and why. Both of you can contest our decision by replying to our message; a person who was not part of the first decision reviews it. Reports that are clearly unfounded and repeated may be ignored.
